A fantastic guitar in an amazing condition
with over £200.00 of upgrades!

This guitar was made at the Fuji-gen Plant in Japan in 1993. Serial number P007722.
The Fuji-gen plant has a reputation for excellent quality
and craftsmanship so the guitars they produce are
highly sought after and highly regarded.
This guitar is no exception to the
quality they are well known for.
This Japanese-built guitar is identical to the
American Standard Stratocaster as introduced in 1986
in the new Corona Factory.
The body has a beautiful sunburst finish with chrome hardware and Gotoh machine heads.
You can really see the grain of the wood through
the finish and it looks amazing!
It has a one piece maple neck and
rosewood fretboard with no fret wear.

This guitar is one from my personal collection
and has received the following upgrades!
Sad to see it go but, you just can't keep them all!
- City Limits Tone rider pickups
- CLS Volume and Tone Pots
- Switchcraft 5 way selector switch
- Switchcraft jack socket
- Scratchplate, pickup covers and control knobs
all changed to mint green
- Vintage style cloth wiring throughout

All the upgrades were completed by Peter Wilson,
Guitar Technician at Steve James Guitars, Middlesbrough. The original pickups, control pots, selector switch, scratchplate, pickup covers and control knobs
are included in the sale if the new buyer
wishes to restore the guitar to the factory setup.

Also included is a leather look strap and Schaller
strap locks so you will be ready to rock!

In preparation for sale the guitar has received the following:-
- Frets polished
- Fretboard cleaned, lemon oiled and conditioned
- Restrung on 04/10/2014 with Fender Bullets 10 Strings
- String height set at 2.4mm at 17^th fret, Bass side
- 2mm at 17^th fret, Treble side
- Correct saddle height adjustment
- Correct neck relief adjustment
- all electrics checked
- all hardware including screws have been removed, cleaned, lightly oiled and reassembled
- Full body and neck cleaned and polished

Clean and ready to be played !

As a left handed player I know it can be difficult
to find quality guitars at a reasonable price,
especially Japanese models.
I spent a long time looking for this particular model of guitar with the headstock showing only the Squier logo
and Silver Series in the ball of the headstock.
The serial number is shown on the heel of the neck
as opposed to the headstock.
These are the more much desirable guitars of the
Silver Series and much more rare,
especially as a left handed guitar.
The condition of this guitar is as good as any
other 21 year old guitar out there, if not better.
General playing wear to be expected.
I have enjoyed playing this guitar immensely and will be
sad to see it go, but as they say,
my loss is someone else's gain.
