Epiphone Sheraton Electric Guitar
Vintage 1989 Korean + Hardcase

Epiphone Sheraton
Semi Acoustic Guitar
Circa - 1989 -
With Stagg Hardcase

This is the real deal when it comes to guitars,
an Epiphone Sheraton, aged and played in . . .
Built in 1989 (making this guitar, now officially vintage!), serial number 9094241, Samick Factory, Korea,
the factory Gibson first moved their
production to after taking over the Epiphone brand.
Guitars from this time and factory are
well known for their high quality and finish.
Please do not mistake this for the new
lesser quality Chinese models.

Built in 1989, this guitar's wood has 25 years of ageing
and now has a sound that literally cannot be replicated.

...thin line hollow maple body with a natural finish,
that looks absolutely stunning against the gold hardware
that has worn in all the right places and has
given it that lovely naturally aged patina,
including gotoh style machine heads and a body binding
that's taken on a lovely creamy colour with age...

 This is a gorgeous guitar!

The solid maple block in the centre of the body
minimizes feedback, while the hollow body wings gives sustain, tone and weight. Two Epiphone alnico classic humbuckers for authentic vintage tone, combined with the aged wood the guitar sounds really, really beautiful.

The neck is a very comfortable 5 piece walnut and
maple neck, it is a dream to play!
This guitar is one of the earlier models that has the neck binding which goes all the way up the sides of the frets, better known as nibs (please see picture).

In preparation for sale the guitar has received the following:-
- Frets polished
- Fretboard cleaned, lemon oiled and conditioned
- Restrung on 12/01/2014 with
Rotosound Yellow 10 gauge strings
- String height set at 2.4mm at 17th fret, Bass side
- 2mm at 17th fret, Treble side
- Correct saddle height adjustment
- Correct neck relief adjustment
- all electrics checked
- all hardware including screws have been removed,
cleaned, lightly oiled and reassembled
- Full body and neck cleaned and polished

Overall condition is well above what you would expect
for a 25 year old used guitar. General playing wear to be expected but nothing that detracts from
the overall appearance and sound of the guitar.
The only item of note is that there is a small nick out of the binding of the scratchplate as shown on the pictures.
This is purely cosmetic and does not
affect the guitar whatsoever.
The Stagg hardcase is included with the guitar with
all latches working and normal signs of use.

If there is anything I have missed picture wise, please
let me know and I will do my best to add it to the listing.

You will not be disappointed with this guitar !!

Any other questions regarding the guitar,
please do not hesitate to ask.
I will endeavour to answer all queries within 2 hours
during working hours or please feel free to
